A former pilot of the French naval aviation was officially charged on July 23 and placed under judicial supervision for collaborating with a foreign state and for collecting and transmitting information related to the fundamental interests of the state to a foreign country, according to the Paris Prosecutor’s Office.
Details of the Case
The former pilot, who is also known as a YouTube blogger, faces accusations of disclosing state secrets in the area of national defense. This was confirmed by the prosecutor’s office, which provided information to the publication Intelligence Online.
The investigation, currently being conducted by an investigating judge, was initiated due to suspicions of possible ties between the former military pilot and China.
