On the morning of August 28, gasoline became available at most gas stations in Nizhny Novgorod, according to NewsNN. Vladimir Putin arrived in the city during the day.
According to NewsNN, the majority of stations belonging to the “Lukoil“, “Gazpromneft“, and “Teboil” networks were operating this morning. Their range included AI-92, AI-95, AI-95+ gasoline and diesel fuel. Some stations also offered AI-100.
Fuel shortage and queues
Journalists noted that gasoline reappeared at the “Lukoil” station on Internatsionalnaya Street. Local residents said there had been no gasoline there for a day and a half since the crisis began. NewsNN reported that queues formed at many city stations after the fuel became available.
Today, Vladimir Putin arrived in Nizhny Novgorod. He has already visited the exhibition “Know Ours” and is now taking part in the forum “Strong Ideas for a New Time“. Kremlin representative Dmitry Peskov said Putin will also meet Governor Gleb Nikitin and inspect the production of “Volga” cars.

In recent months, Putin has visited Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk and other Russian cities. On the days of his arrivals, gasoline prices were lowered and road and building repairs were started.
