The armed forces of Iran on Wednesday warned the countries of the Persian Gulf that any assistance to the US military would be equated to participation in US military operations.
Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran Ali Abdollahi, according to the Iranian news agency Mehr, stated: “We want to warn that any assistance or facilitation to the US military forces, whom we consider aggressors, is equivalent to participation in a US military operation.”
Statement on the presence of military aircraft
Abdollahi also noted: “It seems unlikely that such a large number of military aircraft, including refueling aircraft, could be at regional bases without the knowledge of the host countries.”
