Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Saar on Monday, August 31, accused Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez of a “shameless lie” after Sánchez alleged disinformation linked to Russia and Israel amid a surge of migrants from Morocco into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta.
During an interview with radio station Cadena Ser, Sánchez spoke of disinformation acts involving Russia and Israel in the context of events in Ceuta. In response, Gideon Saar wrote on X that Pedro Sánchez “has lied again, shockingly accusing Israel of spreading misleading information about the events in Ceuta. This is a shameless lie.”
