Israel prepares large-scale anti-terror operation in West Bank after Israeli killed

The Israeli army announced on Friday, July 24, that it is preparing to carry out a “large-scale anti-terror operation” in the occupied West Bank following a deadly attack that left one Israeli and four Palestinians dead.

“Following the terrorist attack carried out earlier today in the Tel area, IDF soldiers are preparing to conduct a large-scale anti-terror operation in this sector,” the military reported. Circumstances of the incident

In the northern part of the occupied West Bank on Friday, one Israeli and four Palestinians were killed during clashes, according to Israeli rescue services and the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The Palestinian ministry reported four dead and four wounded, with three in serious condition, as a result of the shooting in the village of Tel. The Israeli army stated that the attackers opened fire on Israeli civilians, prompting a military response. According to rescue services, one Israeli was killed and two others were injured.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to act “with determination” in response to this attack.
