Lavrov threatens Europe: “It will be a completely different war, and it will be very short”

Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov has stated that a war between Russia and Europe, if Europe were to attack the Russian Federation, would be “very short.” His remarks were reported by Russian media outlets.

Sergey Lavrov reiterated a claim previously made by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin that Russia has no intention of attacking Europe, emphasizing that the Russian Federation has “no interest” in doing so.

At the same time, he noted that the situation would be different if Europe were to attack Russia. “If Europe, which talks every day about preparing for war against Russia, attacks the Russian Federation, then it will be a completely different war, and it will be very short,” he declared.

He added that he hopes this warning will be heard in European capitals and by the institutions currently attempting to create a “united Europe”.
