Under the rubble of a house in Radushne near Kryvyi Rih, destroyed by a Russian ballistic missile, fragments of human bodies were found that still need to be identified. The fate of five children from the large Voronov family is currently unknown, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.
According to the president, the Voronov family included mother Olena, father Artem, and seven children — Mark, Dominika, Zakhar, Azaria-Ilai, Federika, Emilia, and Viorika — along with a one-and-a-half-year-old grandson Artem, the child of their eldest son Matviy, who is currently defending Ukraine. It is confirmed that the parents and three children — Mark, Azaria-Ilai, and Emilia — died in the attack. The fate of Zakhar, Dominika, Viorika, Federika, and grandson Artem is still being determined.
“The strike of the Russian missile was so powerful that almost nothing was left of the house… Fragments of human bodies were found under the rubble, and only examinations can determine exactly which family members the bodies belong to…” emphasized Zelenskyy. He added that this is “a terrible crime of the Russian war against Ukraine — against ordinary people, against ordinary life.”
Call to partners regarding air defense
Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on partners to expedite the transfer of missiles for air defense systems (AD). He stressed: “It is important that these people are seen by those who make decisions — decisions in the Pentagon, in European capitals, and everywhere in the world where there is an opportunity to help Ukraine protect lives. Reality speaks for itself. Protection of life is needed. Missiles for AD are needed.”
