Romania expels Russian diplomat after series of airspace violations by Russian drones

Romania has expelled a diplomat from the Russian embassy following repeated violations of its airspace by Russian drones.

The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the decision on Monday, stating that it had been communicated to the Russian ambassador. This action came after Romanian F-16 fighter pilots shot down three drones over the past three days amid an increase in Russian attacks against neighboring Ukraine.
