Former US President Donald Trump stated that the naval blockade will continue “until an agreement is reached or complete surrender”.
He made this remark on his social network Truth Social, where he also criticized the leadership of Iran, asserting that the US naval blockade will remain in effect until these conditions are met.
Donald Trump described the Iranian leadership as “incredibly hypocritical”. He claimed that the Iranian side is requesting a meeting, and “some might even say they are begging” for it.
Negotiations with Iran
At the same time, according to Trump, despite ongoing and planned negotiations, the Iranian leadership publicly insists that it is not engaged in any talks. He asserts that Tehran is only discussing contacts with Oman.
