Russia’s conditions for a negotiated settlement to the war in Ukraine have not changed compared to those outlined by President Vladimir Putin in 2024, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
According to Peskov, the Russian terms include the handover of four Ukrainian regions claimed by Moscow: Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson. Russia also demands that Kyiv commit to not joining NATO.
What has changed in two years
Peskov noted that the only change over the past two years is the situation on the battlefield, which he claimed has significantly worsened for Ukraine. His statement was reported by TASS.
