The spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated that Russia will give an adequate response to the organizers of “anti‑Russian provocations” in the Baltic region. She said this during a briefing on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
“In the event of further escalation of the military‑political situation in the Baltic region (…) Russia’s reply to the instigators of these insane anti‑Russian provocations will be decisive and devastating,” Zakharova said, as quoted by TASS.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman also called some of Germany’s actions “revanchist.”
